With a one-week photo exhibition and a 4-day film festival – supplemented by lectures, discussions and workshops – organized by FREERATUS Berlin and NOUR Foundation Damascus, in autumn 2019, young Syrians in particular will be given the opportunity to experience and discuss German reconstruction after a devastating war and the reunification of a deeply divided society.

At the suggestion of the NOUR Foundation, the aim of this exchange is to make a contribution to creating perspectives for the reconstruction of the country of Syria, its economy and cities, but also, to a certain extent, for that of the fundamentally changed Syrian society.
