Christian Persico is a Berlin-based independent theatre director, actor, production manager, digital media specialist and cultural consultant. He began acting age of 11. After numerous roles and technical activities in musicals and plays during his school years, Christian joined independent theatre productions and at the age of 16 was elected to the board of directors of the theatre group ONE SONG PRODUCTIONS, for which he directed the play WAIT UNTIL DARK by Frederick Knott in 2010 to sold-out audiences.

From 2011 – 2015, Persico studied Theatre Studies (majoring in directing and acting), German Studies and Communication Studies at the College of Charleston, South Carolina, USA. In 2013 he became a member of the Management Board and Publicity Manager of the theatre group CENTER STAGE. Until 2015, he took part in producing seven theatrical productions and took on additional tasks and projects for the theatre.

Christian Persico took part in the Spoleto Arts Festival in 2014 for Center Stage and in 2015 with the College of Charleston: his production of A STEADY RAIN by Keith Huff earned him a recommendation from the New York Times.

In the 2014/15 season, Christian was also an actor in the ensemble of the regionally renowned THE VILLAGE REPERTORY CO.

In 2015 he moved to Berlin to work as stage manager for the play LIV STEIN with Eva Mattes in the title role. Since then he has worked as Managing Director of the theatre and media department of FREEARTUS artists + refugees united for freedom gGmbH, for which he directed the staged reading and German premiere of the musical GOODBYE, BARCELONA! by Karl Lewkowitz.

In addition to his numerous engagements, Christian Persico is completing an internationally renowned Executive Master in Arts Administration course at the University of Zurich with a focus on artistic directorship.
